Civil War landmark with ranger tours, as well as musket and canon firing. Just pay to park and you can bring the dog. Fort Pulaski is steeped in history so you can easily spend a good two hours here.

Buccaneer Ball, during Pirate Fest, at the Crab Shack. Amazing seafood and pirate themed fun. People watching was the highlight here. There are regulars that have been going since the festival begin. Rumor has it some are descendants of pirates.

Amazing private “Little Tybee Unplugged” boat tour with Sundial Charters. Dolphin observation, beachcombing on Little Tybee Island and bird watching. By far the best thing we did, whilst in Tybee. Renee our guide has a degree in ecology and was extremely knowledgeable. The dolphins swam up to our boat in the marshes and we also got to surf the waves with them out at sea.

Only accessible by boat and featuring 3 miles of shoreline facing the Atlantic Ocean, this National Heritage Preserve is approximately 6,500 acres, seemingly untouched. Amazing beach combing here. I came away with a basket of sand dollars, rare left sided whelk,  and we also had a rare sighting of a ghost crab in the day. We had the whole island to ourselves - we visited on our tour with Sundial Charters.
