Tybee Island 19th getaway
Excellent little unit, priced well, the only issue was unclear with regard to parking, but once that was explained, it was fine, and there were no more issues.

Excellent rental in great location
This is a wonderful little hideaway mere steps from the beach. It was clean, well equpped, quiet and perfect.
Heed the low ceiling/doorway warnings if you’re taller than 6 feet.

The HideAway at 19th Streel and Butler Ave.
Excellent location, just right for two people. Close to the commercial area and steps from the beach at the Southern end of the island. Wonderful place to stay.

review of our stay
As we were seating in the airport ready to leave,we talked about what we had happened on the 14th of May. Around 10 pm we were over ran with Ants.I called the number.The lady came by with her son and he sprayed raid over all the doors and windows.He used 1.5 cans and left the remaining raid incase there were more.Then on the 17th Sunday night things went from bad to i was in the living she started freaking out yelling , i said what is it and she yells theres a frog here in the bedroom, i go in and theres a little frog on the floor, so i stomped on the frog. So i grabbed a paper towel and i picked up the frog to throw in the toilet, as i go into the bathroom to flush it,I see and BIG *** ROACH on the floor behind the again i stomped on the Roach, picked it with another paper towel and threw it in the toilet.She was really scared after that. Told her to calm down everything is under control. Then about 15 mins later she started freaking out again in the bedroom,i said what now shes like theres another ROACH in here.I go back in the bedroom and killed another ROACH..We didnt sleep that. I think we stayed up the whole night.I had taken pictures of the ROACHES but i deleted the pics from my phone. Because i had sent the pics earlier when we were in the airport thats when i thought i did a review then about our stay. Oh that thursday night i did mention the the lady about the men working upstairs early in the morning, she texted who ever they were about can the start working around 930 am instead around 730.We they did. I dont know if any of the other patrons had any of the issues that we had, but i can only speak of our issues.The property was clean.Location was perfect to the beach, we did a lot of walking on the beach and just hanging out.We went to Savannah just about every day, site seeing and eating..Honestly i thought i had sent the review from the airport as we were leaving.Well thats all i have to say about our time at the unit dav

The 19th street review
It was good. It was quite down on 19th st. The walk out to the beach was damage due to storms. The place needed my pots & pans. It needed containers to store food in after cooking. It also needed a griddle or a George Forman to cook bacon or sausage in. Not much on glasses. We were fine withe the ceiling. My husband is 6' he still had some room It had plenty of shelves. I liked all the lamps. It was only us two. Dont think I could of handled anymore adults. Maybe kids But it was OK. Wish all the lattice wasn't blocking the view. With a big SUV turning into the drive was a challenge. The bushes needed to be trimmed some more. We come down for the beach & seafood. It wasn't a bad walk to 18th st. Or the other direction to get to the beach
But we do cook breasfast & lunch in the room.
Maybe put a roll around island to store more stuff for the kitchen area.put it by the column. Or hang hooks on the column to put more pots & pans on. Its still walking distance to all the restaurants & shops. The bed has a very firm mattress. I left left paper products for the next family. And we appreciated the soap, laundry detergent & dish washing stuff but we bring are own from home. If you would add a few items in the kitchen it would help with the cooking.
Would stay there again There was a lawn chair that was broke when we got there. If you dont want anybody to use it. Need to get it out of there. There is something else would like to talk to you about.

Great location!
This is a cozy little one bedroom apartment just steps away from the S. Beach entrance. It was clean, large shower with great water pressure and a large covered porch to store beach toys and bicycles. A few problems (burnt out light bulb, etc) were addressed immediately. Kitchen was well equipped. We weren't told where to park but once that was figured out the stay was uneventful and we really enjoyed the house. The South Beach is nicer and way less crowded than the mid-beach area around the pier but the apartment is still just a few blocks away from all the shops and restaurants in that area.

Full Moon Weekend
Location was perfect for quick walk to beach. Rental was so cute. Larger and prettier than photos can capture. Comfortable bed and couch. Large bathroom with walk-in shower. Rental did have a musty smell in the beginning and we aired out quickly. As this is an old historic homes, it can be normal especially as this unit is on the ground floor. It did not affect my respiratory allergies. I recommend this adorable unit.
