This historic 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home—built in 1929—has been lovingly remodeled and can easily accommodate 8 guests. Located in the Fort Screven area of the island, the home is less than a 5-minute walk to the ocean, and is in proximity to the Tybee Lighthouse, bicycle and golf cart rentals, as well as several restaurants, including The Sugar Shack.
The main floor of the home features an open-concept floorplan. The modern, well-equipped kitchen comes replete with stainless-steel appliances—including a double oven—an overlay refrigerator, as well as a breakfast bar with seating for 2. Guests can enjoy their meals at the 6-seat dining table adjacent to the kitchen.
The dining area flows into the well-appointed living room, with its cozy sofa, armchairs, and flat-screen TV. There is a half bath off the living area.
Access to the screened-in porch is located off the living room. It boasts an outdoor sectional sofa, and plenty of games and toys for the kids. There is an outdoor shower off the porch, as well as plenty of room for children to play in the backyard. The home is also equipped with a grill.
The yard backs up to a public park with walking paths, picnic area with grill, playground, baseball diamond, as well as basketball and shuffleboard courts.
After a day frolicking on the beach, guests can get some rest in one of three bedrooms. The expansive primary bedroom on the main floor comes replete with a king-sized bed and comfortable seating. The en-suite bath features a stand-alone shower along with a rain shower head with handheld.
The second bedroom on the main floor boasts a double bed, wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and its own bath with a shower-over-tub.
The third bedroom is in the upstairs loft. Ideal for kids; it features 1 queen bed , 2 twin beds, as well as a flat-screen TV.
